Evolution Aqua (EA) Tempest Pond Filter - Innovative Polisher for ponds!
 
The Tempest filter from Evolution Aqua is an innovative polishing system for ponds. It uses the latest filtration media, K+Media, to deliver healthy, crystal clear water.
Designed to be used in conjunction with any filtration system, the Tempest filter offers additional filtration (mechanical & biological). It can be installed on a variety of set-ups and can be used on quarantine systems or as a standalone filter on smaller ponds up to 5,000 Litres / 1,100 Gallons.
 
The Tempest filter is easy to install but also simple and quick to clean, by way of a unique air syphon design which is patent pending. During the cleaning process, air is drawn into the filter as it empties which causes the water to agitate which in turn effectively cleans the K+Media.
 
How the Tempest Filter works
Water is pumped up through the filter. The K+Media moves to the top of the filter and becomes a mechanical barrier that traps debris as it flows through the system. Waste is trapped in the media until the cleaning cycle dislodges it and it gets flushed away.
